2 Most Awesome Future Smartphone On Early 2011

I just want to share to you about two new design of smartphone. Maybe, you can call me, a kind of freak boy or something others, but I think, this two design, are incredibly sophisticated. You can say after you stay for some minutes here, read the explanations and watch carefully the products video.

These two smartphone are Triangle Amoled smartphone and Seabird smartphone by Mozilla Labs. Both are smartphone with not only a common smartphone, with a common touchscreen, and a common operating system and ability. They're different. Both have fresh design and the most important is multiple function that I haven't ever seen before. :D

Oke, let's start from Amoled Smartphone.
It's a smartphone with triangular piece held together with soft steel mesh hinges, hosting a custom flavor of Android. You can clearly know by watching this,

What is being creative? from Kristian Larsen on Vimeo.

The designer is Kristian Ulrich Larsen, a gadget designer. I don't know the details of this guy, but you can find out in http://idkul.com/about.htm .

And the second gadget is Seabird. I don't know why the designer give his project with this name, :D. Maybe he was inspired when he saw seabird at a beach.. hehe.
This smartphone, actually is a web concept phone. It's mean that this gadget have a nice performance when connected to Internet.
Oke, because I don't really understand about how does this gadget work, I let you directly watch the video, and find out how awesome this futuric gadget..

O, above is a 2D video version. Below is 3D version video,

From mozillalabs.com, I found some explanation about this seabird.. Let's read!

Who created this project?

Seabird was created by Billy May, a Mozilla Labs community member who in early 2009 created an initial vision of what an Open Web mobile phone could look like. Seabird is Billy’s followup project in which he incorporated the feedback he received from the wider community on his first throw-away concept. Overview

The Mozilla Seabird, part of the Mozilla Labs’ Concept Series, is an experiment in how users might interact with their mobile content as devices and technology advances. Drawing on insights culled from the Mozilla community through the project’s blog, a focus quickly developed around frustrating physical interactions. While mobile CPUs, connectivity and development platforms begin approaching that of desktops, the lagging ability to efficiently input information has grown ever more pronounced.

Interaction

The Seabird, then, introduces a few possibilities into how user interaction might evolve with the advancing motion capture and projector driven innovation in the market. First out, the Seabird imagines how a multiple use dongle might augment the crowded gestural interface with greater precision and direct manipulation of content in 3D space.

Pico Projector

With mobile phone companies such as Samsung, LG and Motorola moving towards display applications for projectors, the technology remains open for expanding user interaction and input at the same time. The Seabird, on just a flat surface, enables netbook-quality interaction by working with the projector’s angular distortion to deliver interface, rather than content. With the benefit of a dock, each projector works independently and delivers laptop levels of efficiency.

Design

The form development took its cues from various aerodynamic, avian and decidedly feminine forms. Its erect posture intends a sense of poise while its supine conformity to the hand reconciles that with the user’s desire for digital control. The curvature of the back also serves a functional role in elevating the projector lens elements when lying flat.
